Study-Track terms of service

These Terms govern your use of Study-Track, operated by Study-Track Inc.. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Key points

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum legal age in your region). You are responsible for your account, credentials, and all activity. Study-Track includes academic calendars, study tracking, courses, todos/deadlines, goals and streaks, achievements/levels, public profiles/leaderboards, study groups, a blog, and social sharing.

Accounts and security

• Keep your registration details accurate and your credentials confidential.
• Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access via support.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, fraud, or policy violations.

Service features

• Academic calendar: week/day views, create/edit events, drag-to-create.
• Study tracking: timers with activity types and durations.
• Courses: classes with colors, semesters, and course details.
• Todos: tasks, recurring options, completion tracking, overdue indicators.
• Planning notes: daily notes linked to courses and activity types.
• Goals, streaks, achievements, XP, and levels: progress tracking and celebrations.
• Deadlines: a dedicated view for upcoming due dates.
• Blog: posts with community interactions such as likes and comments (requires an account to interact).

Social features

• Friends: mutual requests by username or email.
• Activity sharing: share snapshots and comparisons; built for aggregated statistics, not raw event data.
• Public profiles and leaderboards: you can choose to show aggregated stats publicly and appear in rankings.
• Study groups: create/join groups and see live study status, goal progress, and group leaderboards.
• "Por" notifications: encouragement messages with cooldowns - no harassment, spam, or abuse.

Premium subscriptions (Stripe)

Premium renews automatically unless canceled before renewal; taxes may apply. Benefits may include priority support, advanced analytics, custom themes, and data export tools. Premium may remove ads or sponsored messages if they are shown on the Free plan. Stripe processes payments; we do not store card numbers. Refunds follow applicable law and platform rules. Trials or promotions (if offered) are time-limited; continued use may require payment. Plans or prices may change; material changes will be communicated where required.

Referrals

If a referral program is available, you may share your referral code with others. Abuse (spam, fake sign-ups, or other manipulation) is prohibited. We may modify, suspend, or end referral rewards at any time where permitted, including revoking rewards tied to fraud or policy violations.

Public content

Some features may be public by design (for example: public profiles and public leaderboards). You control visibility in Settings where available. Do not share sensitive personal information in public-facing areas. Public content can be copied or shared by others.

Your content and acceptable use

You own your content and grant us a license to host, process, and display it to operate the service. You must have rights to the content you provide (including ICS imports) and ensure it does not violate law or third-party rights. No unlawful, infringing, abusive, harassing, disruptive, scraping, cheating, or reverse-engineering activity; do not bypass access controls or access other accounts or data without permission.

Third parties, data, and deletion

The service relies on providers such as Firebase/Google, Stripe, Cloudinary, Resend (email delivery), analytics providers, Cloudflare (CAPTCHA), advertising partners (if enabled), and calendar/ICS sources; their terms apply to their services. Data is stored in Firebase Firestore with real-time sync. You may request account deletion in the app; deletion removes personal data from active systems, though backups or logs may persist briefly for security, recovery, or legal obligations.

Availability and changes

We strive for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features and will communicate material changes when feasible and required. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Disclaimers, liability, indemnity

The service is provided “as is.” To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the greater of fees you paid for Study-Track in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. You agree to indemnify and hold Study-Track Inc. harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

You may stop using Study-Track anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for violations or risks. Provisions on ownership, payments, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of the courts of Ghent, East Flanders, Belgium, unless local law requires otherwise.
