Study-Track
Terms of Service
Effective date: 19 August 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Study-Track, the web app, desktop app, and mobile apps operated by Study-Track Inc., including the academic calendar, study tracking, planning, social, and AI planning features described below.
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. Creating an account requires ticking a box to confirm you agree to both documents.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use the service. If you use Study-Track on behalf of a study group, class, organization, or another person, you are responsible for making sure you have authority to do that.
Acceptance
Agreeing to these Terms
Creating a Study-Track account requires ticking a box to confirm you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
Where these Terms apply
These Terms apply to your use of Study-Track on the web app, the desktop app, and the mobile apps for iOS and Android, all connected to the same account.
Updates and local rights
If local consumer, privacy, or platform rules give you rights that these Terms cannot limit, those rights still apply. Nothing in these Terms is meant to remove rights that cannot legally be removed.
The service
What Study-Track is
Study-Track is a study planner and tracker for students. It includes academic calendar and timetable imports (including ICS files and calendar URLs from universities such as Smartschool, TimeEdit, and similar systems), study time tracking with a timer and activity types, a focus timer, courses, semesters, and study points, todos and deadlines, planning notes, goals, streaks, achievements, XP and levels, exam prep, and grades and credits tracking.
Age requirement
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age required in your region, to use Study-Track.
Beta and changing features
Some features may be experimental, in beta, or released gradually. We may improve, rename, limit, remove, or replace features as the product evolves.
Accounts
Accurate information
Keep your registration details accurate and your login credentials confidential. Do not share accounts, create accounts using someone else's identity, or use automated account creation.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access via contact us.
Suspension and termination by us
We may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, fraud, chargebacks, security risks, legal risk, or violations of these Terms. Where reasonable, we will try to explain the reason, but we may act immediately when needed to protect the service or other users.
Your content and study data
Ownership and license
You own the content you add to Study-Track (calendar entries, todos, notes, imported timetables, and similar). You grant us a limited license to host, process, store, display, sync, back up, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service for you.
Imports
You must have the right to import the calendars, timetables, and ICS files you add, and that content must not violate the law or a third party's rights.
Accuracy
Study-Track surfaces the data you enter and the data your imports provide. You are responsible for keeping your own schedule and academic information accurate and up to date.
Backups and export
Study-Track is not a guaranteed archive for school records, grades, or deadlines. Keep your own copies of important academic information and verify critical dates with your school or official calendar.
AI features
The AI week planner
Study-Track offers an AI week planner: an assistant that looks at your courses, workload, availability, and existing calendar and study data, and generates a proposed weekly study plan. You choose whether to apply or discard the plan it generates.
Accuracy and limitations
Output from the AI planner is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, unrealistic, incomplete, or based on misunderstood context. It is a suggestion, not academic, legal, medical, or professional advice, and it does not replace your own judgment or guidance from your institution.
Your responsibility
Applying a generated plan is your choice. You remain fully responsible for your own schedule, deadlines, and academic decisions, whether or not you use the AI planner.
AI availability and limits
AI features may have usage limits, waiting periods, rate limits, or temporary downtime. We may adjust those limits to manage cost, abuse, reliability, or beta access.
Social features
Friends and groups
You can send and accept mutual friend requests by username or email, and create or join study groups with other users.
Live status, profiles, and leaderboards
Study groups can show live study status and group leaderboards. You can choose to enable a public profile or appear on public leaderboards; you control this in Settings where available.
Encouragement notifications
"Por" notifications let friends send short encouragement messages, subject to a cooldown. Harassment, spam, or abuse through this feature is not allowed.
Blog
The blog lets you read posts and, with an account, like and comment on them. Comments must follow the same acceptable-use rules as the rest of the service.
Premium and payments
Plans
Premium is available as a monthly plan, a 3-month plan, a one-time lifetime plan, and a Study Group plan shared between multiple people on one subscription. A free trial may be offered; its length is shown when you start it.
Billing
Web payments are processed by Stripe. Payments made through the iOS or Android app are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, with RevenueCat managing subscription entitlements across platforms. We do not store your full card number. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal, and taxes may apply.
Cancellation
You can cancel a renewing subscription through the platform where you purchased it. Web subscriptions are managed through the Stripe billing flow; iOS and Android subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Google Play. Canceling stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges.
Refunds and changes
Refunds follow applicable law and the relevant platform's rules. We may change plans, features, or prices; where required, we will communicate material changes in advance.
Referrals
Referral codes
If a referral program is available, you may share your referral code with others. Abuse, including spam, fake sign-ups, or other manipulation, is prohibited.
Changes to rewards
We may modify, suspend, or end referral rewards at any time where permitted, including revoking rewards tied to fraud or a violation of these Terms.
Public content and visibility
What can be public
Some features are public by design, including public profiles, public leaderboards, and creator pages. You control what you make visible in Settings where available.
Your responsibility
Do not share sensitive personal information in public-facing areas. Content visible to others, including on public profiles and leaderboards, can be copied or shared outside Study-Track.
Acceptable use
What is not allowed
- Unlawful, infringing, abusive, or harassing activity.
- Scraping, cheating, or reverse-engineering the service.
- Bypassing access controls or accessing accounts or data that are not yours.
- Uploading malware, spam, or content that interferes with the service.
- Using Study-Track to impersonate another person or misrepresent affiliation with Study-Track.
Enforcement
We may remove content, restrict features, rate limit activity, block imports, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. We may also preserve or disclose information when needed for safety, legal compliance, or abuse investigation.
Third parties, data, and deletion
Service providers
Study-Track relies on providers including Firebase/Google, Stripe, Apple App Store and Google Play, RevenueCat, Cloudinary, Resend, Google Analytics, Cloudflare Turnstile, and Netlify to operate the service. Their own terms apply to the parts of the service they provide. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we share with them.
Deactivation and deletion
You can deactivate your account in Settings to pause it without deleting your data, or delete your account and data in Settings or through the account deletion request page. Deletion removes personal data from active systems; backups or logs may persist briefly for security, recovery, or legal reasons.
Availability and changes
No uninterrupted service guarantee
We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee that Study-Track will always be available, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device, browser, school calendar, or third-party provider.
Changes to the service and these Terms
We may modify or discontinue features and may update these Terms. We will communicate material changes when feasible and required. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Disclaimers, liability, and indemnity
"As is"
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent allowed by law, our total liability is limited to the greater of the fees you paid for Study-Track in the three months before the claim or EUR 50.
No indirect damages
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Study-Track Inc. harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the service or a violation of these Terms.
No academic outcome guarantee
Study-Track can help you plan, track, and reflect, but it does not guarantee grades, exam results, admissions, credits, scholarships, or other academic outcomes.
Termination
By you
You may stop using Study-Track at any time.
By us
We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or risks to the service or other users.
What survives
Provisions on ownership, payments, disclaimers, liability, and governing law survive termination.
Governing law and venue
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium.

Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ghent, East Flanders, Belgium, unless local law requires otherwise.
